Just a few things to know before you arrive to your first appointment.
There is a form to fill out with your details and your consent to treatment.
The first session generally takes forty-five to sixty minutes with a detailed history of your health and lifestyle. Then you will lie on an acupuncture table and fine needles are inserted into the skin. This is considered a painless process by most people. It is the unknown that produces fear. So take a deep breath and you will be fine.
Other treatments I may call on as we work together include moxibustion, cupping and electro-therapy.
I think it is useful to have a bite to eat before you come to treatment and some people like to wear shorts/skirt and a t-shirt so they don’t have to de robe but we supply linin for privacy so it’s not mandatory.
Afterwards it’s best to rest and have something to eat and drink.
Please take note of my cancellation policy which requires 24 hours notice of cancellation or a $50 charge.For appointments cancelled on the day, the full session fee will need to be charged, unless you suddenly feel sick with covid like symptoms.
The clinic is located at 182 Mt Albert Road. There is plenty of parking on the road, that is safe and free of charge.
Please walk down the driveway and you will see a door on your right hand side.
